When you find a book, and become so engrossed in it that buying is merely an afterthought, that’s when you know it’s good. Writer Stephanie Meyer has been making waves in the young adult vampire community with Twilight, her tales of a girl named Bella, and Edward, the vampire who has changed her life.
Twilight follows 17 year-old Isabella Swan who moves from Phoenix to Forks, Washington. Things change as her life is suddenly in danger when she falls in love with Edward Cullen, a vampire. In an exclusive video interview, Meyer talks about the book, the characters, and gives a bit of insight on when the tale may end.

When asked if she is anything like her main character Bella, Stephanie says that she is actually most like Edward, in that she and he both tend to “see things in black and white”. One thing she’s really excited about is having her characters, Bella, Edward and Jacob in her fan’s minds. According to Meyer, the next book Breaking Dawn will wrap up the story of Bella and Edward, however she does plan to write more books.
Meyer’s current books in this series are entitled Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. Breaking Dawn will be available August 2, 2008. It’s also been reported that Twilight already has a film adaptation, set for a 2008 release. You can watch the short interview here.
