If you enjoy staying at your parent’s secluded country home, or anywhere in the country, you may think twice about it after seeing The Strangers.
The film stars Liv Tyler, Scott Speedman, Gemma Ward, Kip Weeks, and Laura Margolis, and is the first film for writer/director Bryan Bertino. This cover pictured left was released last year, however you can see the actual poster for the film here at TheStrangersMovie.com
The Strangers scared the hell out of me, as it plays on some very basic fears, and here is my spoilery review:

Friday The 13th Actors & Filming Locations

Horror hottie Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) is getting company for his role in Friday The 13th (2009), in the form of a new female lead.
Danielle Panabaker, who recently worked beside Kevin Costner in the thriller, Mr. Brooks, will portray the girlfriend of a jock (Travis Van Winkle’s character).
Other stars on board are Amanda Righetti, Ryan Hansen, and Ben Feldman. Filming for this remake is taking place in La Grange, Austin and Bastrop, Texas, so if you live in these areas, be sure and give Jared Padalecki a shout out!

The Heat On The Happening
Whether you believe in global warming or not, there are some Weather Guys who believe that M. Night Shyamalan might be in cahoots with Al Gore and his Inconvenient Truth, secretly planning a coup in the movie theatres with his new film, The Happening.
Well, they are just pointing out that his movie is taking advantage of the global warning theme. Who knows, this may be his scariest film yet. After all, there are lots of companies that want us all on the green bandwagon, and plenty of takers.

 
It could be the haunting masks, the location of the home being out in the middle of nowhere, or even the skipping record player. For whatever reason, the trailer for the movie The Strangers scares the bejesus out of me. Read my take on this movie and more about the actors after the Jump.
