‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ Reshoot and ‘Friday the 13th 3D’ Updates

Brad Fuller updated the official Platinum Dunes blog today with some news about the Nightmare on Elm Street reshoots and the upcoming Friday the 13th 3D flick.
Reviews for the remake were mixed after a round of test-screenings and PD set out to shoot additional scenes. Apparently, the scene involves a diner where Nancy works but there was no clue as to whether this would clear up any plot confusion. First ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ Review
The first screening test for Samuel Bayer’s A Nightmare on Elm Street remake happened last week in El Segundo, California and a review from the boys at Ain’t It Cool News are mixed. You can check out the full story here, however, Skin Peeler’s breakdown of the film is as follows:

‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ Trailer Debut
I’ve been anxious to see the A Nightmare on Elm Street trailer for months. The hype for the film was strong during the San Diego Comic-Con and now it’s finally here! What do you guys think?

Freddy at Comic-Con

Brad Fuller, producer for the Nightmare on Elm Street remake, has been keeping fans up to date on Twitter. He tweeted a week ago that the movie officially wrapped and posted these set photos of Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner and director Samuel Bayer.
If you’re going to San Diego’s Comic-Con next week, be on the lookout for Jackie Earle Haley in full Freddy makeup. Just a few days ago, Fuller tweeted, ”comic con is looking good. I can tell you this for sure- Freddy will be there.”
A Nightmare on Elm Street is due to be released on April 16, 2010.
