After a two year wait, Warner Bros. Pictures is finally releasing their version of Dominica Sen’s Whiteout, the live action comic book adaptation starring Kate Beckinsale, Gabriel Macht, Tom Skerritt, Columbus Short, Alex O’Loughlin. Joel Silver is one of the producers.
Kate Beckinsale is Carrie Stetko, a lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica, who is investigating the continent’s first murder and becomes involved in a shocking mystery. Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is plunged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer. Check out the official website here.

Sony’s Screen Gems is moving ahead with a fourth film in the Underworld series–this time in 3-D. The film is being prepped for a January 2011 release.
No word yet if any of the former cast members will return for this one but you may see Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, Kate Beckinsale, Rhona Mitra and Scott Speedman again.

Underworld fans should be extremely happy. The saga of the secret history of vampires, their role as Death Dealers and their war with the Lycans actually begin in Underworld: Rise of The Lycans. Images from Underworld 3 are out. The film releases on January 23, 2009. Check out the images in the video which also include some quick shots of the Underworld panel at Comic-Con.
