Landis Begins Shooting ‘Burke and Hare’
John Landis started principal photography on Burke & Hare and the cast is looking pretty fantastic. He’s been describing the film as a “black romantic comedy”–based on the true story of the 1828 body-snatcher duo, Burke and Hare. When the needs of Dr. Knox (Tom Wilkinson) and Dr. Monroe (Tim Curry) exceed the local supply, Burke and Hare come up with nefarious ways to deliver the dead as demanded.

An American Werewolf in London – Full Moon Edition

Universal Studios Home Entertainment is releasing a Blu-ray edition of An American Werewolf in London on September 15.
You will recognize most of the bonus features from the 20th Anniversary release in 2001, but it also includes a new feature-length documentary, Beware the Moon. Filmmaker Paul Davis directs the documentary and takes an in-depth look at the making of the movie with the help of Director John Landis and Academy Award-winning make-up artist Rick Baker.
