Vampires are certainly getting their fair share of the spotlight these days, but Little Red Riding Hood and her wolf nemesis are not so far behind.
Writer/director Joseph Bat is working on A Tale of Little Red Riding Hood, which is set for a 2009 release and will feature a darker reimagining of the story. The website says, “of the different versions of the original story, elements of the original Charles Perrault and the later Brothers Grimm story will be used in combination with new material.”

Screamstress has been having fun checking out the Twilight screamfest at this weekend’s Comic-Con 2008 in San Diego.
 

The film stars, author Stephenie Meyer, and the film director Catherine Hardwicke from the upcoming December Twilight movie were in attendance. When they came onstage, the crowd just went wild. Well, they were pretty rabid before they came out actually…in a good way of course!
