According to Hollywood Reporter, Summit Entertainment is putting the next two Twilight sequels in the production pipeline. The Twilight books, New Moon and Eclipse, will have screenplays penned by Melissa Rosenberg. The screenplay for the third book, Breaking Dawn does not yet have a writer.
In New Moon, the main character Bella befriends and seeks solace with a werewolf after Edward leaves town to protect her from other vampires. The vampires will be out this Friday night, August 1, just after sunset, frequenting bookstores and convention halls around the country, awaiting release of author Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” Breaking Dawn book.
