Screamstress Horror News Round-Up: July 20, 2008
Surely you’ve been busy seeing our favorite clown, The Joker this weekend, and probably missed much of the latest horror news. Check this latest theatrical trailer for Mirrors and catch more updates after the video:
- It looks like Jared Padalecki is going to have his hands full! In case you missed these, a new Friday The 13th image is out via ShocktillYouDrop. Click here to see the new Jason and decide for yourself if he’s just as scary. I think he’s gotten a more stylish update. The film also stars Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti and Travis Van Winkle.
- The horror film Mirrors has a new and more revealing theatrical trailer out. It’s all about something sinister inside mirrors and reflections. How can you fight a reflection, or stop something evil that enters your world via a mirror? We’ll have to wait and see when Mirrors hits the big screen next month, on August 15.
- Friday The 13th: The Series is coming to DVD soon, and the cover art looks amazing. It’s a TV series which follows the story of two young antique store owners who must retrieve all the cursed objects that were sold from their store by their late Uncle Vendredi. He coincidentally made a pact with the devil.
I loved this series when I was a kid, and am excited to hear it’s coming to DVD. This first season DVD will be available on September 23 here in the U.S. You can see the trailer for this series here at YouTube.
