"S. Darko" Gets Alex O’ Loughlin
S. Darko is the sequel to the critically acclaimed movie, Donnie Darko, and 
it’s been reported at Alex O’Loughlin Online that O’Loughlin is set for a role in this sequel.
The film, S. Darko, directed by Chris Fischer, follows Donnie’s sister Samantha, who has some strange visions with her friend Corey as they take a road trip to Los Angeles. The film will star Daveigh Chase as Samantha, Ed Westwick, Briana Evigan, and Justin Chatwin.
Honestly, I’m really excited about the sequel, and having O’Loughlin as a part of it is pretty cool too. Although I’m also a fan of the TV crime drama, The Shield, I cannot recall O’Loughlin’s role there, so unfortunately I’m only used to seeing him as vampy Mick St. John on Moonlight. I can only imagine what type of role he’d portray for this film.
S. Darko is set for a 2009 release, and so far there seems to be no details of O’Loughlin’s role in the film. We’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, I’m excited about this movie sequel, and if you think the premise sounds normal, I suspect it may sneak up on you, just as the first movie.

Hey Alexandra ~
When I heard the news about Alex being in a new film, I couldn’t wait to pass it on either! He had just left on that much needed holiday to Mexico, so it was nice to have confirmation that we would see him on screen again. Of course, I really want him back as our Mick St John. However, I will take that man anyway I can get him *wink*
Alex is an amazing actor! I’ve enjoyed every role I’ve seen him portray. Oooooo… by the way… he was the yummy Detective Kevin Hiatt on The Shield.
