Paramore’s "Decode" on "Twilight" Soundtrack…It’s Coming
Another huge plus for Twilight fans, notably in the area of soundtrack goodness!
Paramore has an official single, called Decode that will be the first of two singles on the Twilight soundtrack, which will be in stores on November 4.
For now, head over to Stephenie Meyer’s official site to hear the song: www.stepheniemeyer.com. The complete soundtrack listing will be available soon! You can also hear the cut at Paramore.net in the music section.
For those new to Twilight, it’s a modern day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire, written in a series of books written by Stephenie Meyer that has won many many awards. Fans eagerly await the release of the film Twilight, which is based on the story, and is tapped for a November 21 release.
Paramore, the American rock band that hails from Franklin, Tennessee, has released two albums, and their second album release in 2007, called Riot!, was certified platinum in the U.S. and gold in the UK and Ireland. Some of their hit songs include Misery Business and crushcrushcrush.
Hayley Williams, the lead singer of Paramore is more than just a passing fan of Twilight. She recently said on Paramore’s official site that the book series has really held her attention, more so than even the Harry Potter series (though she loved the movies), and she is excited that the band gets to be a part of the Twilight phenomenon.

This is for MySpace’s Artist on Artist Celebrity Interviews. It makes perfect sense to have these two together, since they both perform a song on the Twilight soundtrack. [...]
