HBO’s "Tru Blood" Gets New Cast Regulars
The latest Tru Blood news is of cast members added as regulars. If you’ve been watching the show, you know that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are the main stars. Mehcad Brooks, Todd Lowe, Deborah Ann Woll and Michelle Forbes are now part of the regular cast, which should make for some interesting moves for the fictional town of Bon Temps, Louisiana.
Tru Blood - A Guilty Pleasure?
Whether you liked the Charlaine Harris books on which the series is based, or was a fan of what seemed to be the unusual viral marketing campaign for the show, you can’t help being drawn in to the lavishness of the show’s scary moments, funny yet sexy thrills, and brilliant political satire.
So far, my favorite plotlines in this series are the relationship between Sookie (Paquin), and her best friend, Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley). Of course, the burgeoning love affair between Sookie, and the 175 year-old vampire, Bill Compton (Moyer) is a main draw. What’s your favorite?
