Friday The 13th Actors & Filming Locations
Horror hottie Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) is getting company for his role in Friday The 13th (2009), in the form of a new female lead.
Danielle Panabaker, who recently worked beside Kevin Costner in the thriller, Mr. Brooks, will portray the girlfriend of a jock (Travis Van Winkle’s character).
Other stars on board are Amanda Righetti, Ryan Hansen, and Ben Feldman. Filming for this remake is taking place in La Grange, Austin and Bastrop, Texas, so if you live in these areas, be sure and give Jared Padalecki a shout out!
The Strangers Soundtrack Release Dates
The movie, The Strangers hits theatres on May 30, however, the soundtrack is available May 20 on iTunes, and in stores on May 27.
The soundtrack features original music by tomandandy, which consist of the composing team, Andy Milburn, and Thomas Hadju. Their composing credits in the horror genre include The Hills Have Eyes, and The Mothman Prophecies.
I’m a fan of movie soundtracks, but there have been times of disappointment (such as with the 30 Days of Night soundtrack). Having it on iTunes is great because you can have a listen, and get a sense from others of what to expect.
Furthermore, some of us are not crazy about soundtracks, but they do have their place in my dark heart. Many films are just not the same without the compelling atmosphere a soundtrack provides.
