“The Haunting in Connecticut” – Preview & Trailer
March 18, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
We were just saying (my kids and I, that is) that there are scary movies and then there are SCARY movies. “The Haunting in Connecticut” looks like one of the SCARY movies. Check out the trailer below and see if you agree.
Based on a true story, it tells the story of the Campbell family, who move to upstate New York and soon discover that their Victorian home has a dark history. In fact, it was a mortuary! And the owner’s son was a clairvoyant who served as a sort of demonic messenger, helping spirits to cross over.

5 Clips from The Last House on the Left – VIDEOS
March 3, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Rogue Pictures’ The Last House on the Left arrives in theaters March 13, 2009, and it’s actually a remake to the second power. What the heck does that mean? January 14, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Just the poster for “My Bloody Valentine 3D” looks ultra- scary! And the fact that it’s in 3D just adds to the fright-factor by about … 100 times. What do you think? Is this on your must-see list this weekend?
It tells the story of Tom (Jensen Ackles), who returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine’s night massacre that claimed the lives of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, however, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders, and it seems like his old flame (Jaime King) is the only one will believes he’s innocent.
