If ‘Buffy the Vampire’s’ Faith and Buffy Had a Baby…
December 30, 2009 by Alison
I’ve always been fascinated by twins and other strange anomalies of nature. When Buffy the Vampire star Alyson Hannigan (Willow) posted this picture on her Twitter account, I got totally spooked.
Alyson wrote of the picture, “If Eliza and Sarah were combined into one person…” Yep, that looks like Alyson standing next to a Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Faith (Eliza Dushku) hybrid. And what are the chances of randomly meeting someone like that? Bizarro world!
Maybe Joss Whedon can recover from Dollhouse sadness by casting this chick in a new Buffy script. It seemed to be the only show that didn’t …read more
Joss Whedon’s Latest Horrors
November 30, 2008 by Alexandra
Writer/Director Joss Whedon has a new greenlit project, Cabin In The Woods. So far no word on actual plot or cast, but we do know the script was co-written by Joss Whedon, the film is to be directed by Drew Goddard, and it is set for release on October 23, 2009.
This is Whedon’s possibly brief return to horror, and definitely worth a look.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer might be headed our way via the big screen according to some press at Moviehole.net Cast members had only envisioned a “return” to the story if there was possibility of a big …read more
Catching Up With Amber Benson
June 20, 2008 by Alexandra
Amber Benson first got my attention as character Tara Maclay, the girlfriend of Willow and shy witch on Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Since then, I’ve seen her on an episode of Supernatural, as Lenore, and have loved her style ever since. Although much of her work has been drama, and some comedy, many are happy to have her in the horror/supernatural realm of acting.
In Buffy, her character of Tara always seemed to be such an unusual individual, and it may be that Amber can’t help but be as unique as she is, and it makes her a better actor.

Joss Whedon, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Seth Green, Emma Caufield, and others were at the Paley Center For Media which was honoring and celebrating the TV series, Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The creation of this show was the pinnacle of horror television with its vampire theme, and it set the TV industry on fire, all from a little known network at the time called The WB. You can see all of this in an awesome video interview.
It was nice to see these guys together, although I didn’t …read more
