Werepanther Coming to ‘True Blood’?

Either you want to tear your hair out or you’re recovering from True Bloodtastic bliss after all the True Blood casting news over the past few weeks. Well, let me force upon you another new cast member, whose werepanther roots may or may not be an element to the storyline for the third season of HBO’s True Blood.

Lindsay Pulsipher will join several new cast members as Crystal Norris. She is described as a ‘barefoot, sundress-wearing woman’ who will reportedly share an ‘electric connection’ with Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). Jason always seems to have his hands full!

In the Charlaine Harris novels, Crystal is a werepanther, but there’s no word if Alan Ball will use this element in the third season. A bigger variety of creatures would be great to see so let’s hope he lets those pesky werepanthers on the show.
