Vamps vs. Wolves Continues in ‘Gil’s All Fright Diner’

Dreamworks Animation will be release an adaptation of an A. Lee Martinez novel, Gil’s All Fright 
Diner. The film will be directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and has Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris (both did Kung Fu Panda & Sleeper Cell) set to write.
The werewolf and vampire feud continues in Diner which revolves around the creatures as mismatched partners who battle zombies and try to save the world. After, they stop in a diner in a desert which is a conduit for the supernatural. A high school cheerleader who wants fame is their ally and with an odd couple like this (similar to Zombieland) it’s guaranteed to be entertaining.

Holy crap! Is this like for sure happening, like greenlit? If so that is a great GREAT combination of source material and Director. I kind of hated Men in Black II but Sonnenfeld won his way back with Pushing Daisies. The book is def not “all ages” though, it would be great if they kept that but I can’t see the guys that made Shrek doing pulling in an R.
yeah i’m curious to see what they came up with. i haven’t read the books but they look like a lot of fun. i almost get a Christopher Moore vibe from the whole thing…but only if they gear this toward adults and not kids.
