‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Preview

As soon as one ends another begins. Yes, it’s already time to start looking at the new installment in the Twilight saga, Eclipse.

Summit Entertainment released this still from the new film which is currently in pre-production and in theaters June 30, 2010. From the press release:

In ECLIPSE, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge.  In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf.  With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Summit really loves that field of flowers. I feel like I’ve seen this still about 10 times before. Eclipse stars all the usual suspects including: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone and Dakota Fanning

The film is being directed by David Slade who is famous for his work on music videos. He also directed Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night. I am still not recovered from this tidbit of news but we’ll see what else the new Twi edition has in store. I’m sure I’ll be getting a bazillion emails about it in the coming months.
