New Vamp and Werewolf for HBO’s ‘True Blood’

True Blood fans should be getting excited about Season 3, as HBO reveals several cast announcements this week. In addition to Marshall Allman’s new role on the show, up-and-coming actor Theo Alexander and Ugly Betty star Grant Bowler will have a recurring role in Season 3.
Alexander will play Talbot, an “intensely beautiful” vampire and the boyfriend of Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) who is the vampire king of Mississippi. Apparently he has a sharp wit and loves to cook. Bowler will play Coot, a werewolf and menacing ringleader of a biker gang.
There are several other spots to be filled including trashy Debbie and Chrystal, orderly Jesus, handsome vamp Franklin and alpha werewolf Alcid. Yay more werewolves! Stay tuned for more details as I get them.
