‘Paranormal Activity’ Gives You Credit and New Sequel?

Paramount Pictures’ hugely successful Paranormal Activity wants to put your name in the credits on the DVD as a big thanks for helping to make the film a hit. You can enter your name here to be recognized as one of the bazillion people that saw Oren Peli’s film in theaters in October.

Also on the horizon is a possible sequel to the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Paramount’s CEO, Philippe Dauman, says Paramount is going to play it smart with the second film IF it happens: “Our team will come up with the right creative and marketing approach to make sure that we benefit from a sequel,” Dauman said. And it sounds like he’s not worried about this whole mess with The Blair Witch creators, possibly cashing in on Paranormal Activity’s success. before Paramount does.
