Milla Jovovich is Tweet Happy for ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’
Everyone on Twitter is abuzz about Milla Jovovich tweeting from the set of Resident Evil:
Afterlife, which is currently filming in Toronto. Milla has been furiously tweeting tidbits from the set and she revealed this week that “Valentine MAY be back”–referring to Jill Valentine played by Sienna Guillory.
This will be the fourth installment in the series of film adaptations based on the survival horror game Resident Evil. And it’s in 3D! Paul W.S. Anderson (Milla’s husband) is set to direct and the film is due in theaters August 27, 2010.
The story picks up where the third one left off with Milla’s character Alice on a search for remaining survivors to lead them to safety. Her battle with the Umbrella Corporation gets uglier but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. When the group finally makes it to Los Angeles, they discover the city is overrun by zombies. Ali Larter has returned in her role as Claire Redfield and Spencer Locke is back as K-Mart. Also starring is Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield and Albert Wesker as Shawn Roberts. Here’s a little bit more of what Milla’s dished up recently. You can also follow her on Twitter here.
So we’ve finally finished the dialogue part of this scene and now its getting exciting in the studio cause we’re gonna kick some a$$!!!
The 3D is super cool, but its just an added element that gets u into the world. If u loved the other films, this goes above and beyond!
I wld say my fav RE film is #3, cause It was the 1st film where characters came back, so I got to hang w oded fehr and mike eps again.
Shawn Roberts is an incredible Wesker, he looks EXACTLY like in the game and he is doing the accent too! Its amazing!
The fight is Alice, Claire and Chris Redfield against super powerful Wesker. The moves r taken directly from RE5, a homage to the fans.
A lot of it is taken directly from the game, so its very important for us to know the right moves.
We’ve all gotten injured on these films at one point or another, I still hve an injury from#2 that I will probably have for good.
