November 7, 2009 by Alison

In anticipation of Twilight: New Moon ready to hit theaters on November 20, FEARnet has FEARnetdecided to offer up 20 Days of Vampires. The three original series on tap at FEARnet’s website are 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails, 30 Days of Night: Dust to Dust and The Dark Path Chronicles. There will be new episodes posted daily.

Here’s a little synopsis for each one:

30 Days of Night: Blood Trails

FEARnet and Ghost House pictures present an original series based on the New Orleans’ vampire hunter from the award-winning graphic novel 30 Days of Night. Staged two days before the events in the movie, Blood Trails focuses on a young addict who makes a living seeking undercover information for a weary but wise New Orleans vampire hunter.

30 Days of Night: Dust to Dust

Dust to Dust continues the New Orleans storyline from Blood Trails where fans first met George, an ex-junkie who, while trying to expose the vampires, got captured by the authorities and blamed for the trail of bodies. Our new series begins as Detective Nick Maguire learns that his sister Sara, a nurse at the local penitentiary, disappeared during a mysterious prison break in which George escaped. Nick ignores the wishes of his former partner, Gina, and begins to search for Sara himself. While scouring the gritty streets of New Orleans, Nick finds George and learns that there was more to the prison break than anyone thought, and that the wounds inflicted upon Sara may be changing her into a blood-thirsty vampire. Now, in order to save his sister, Nick will have to learn to trust George, and become a believer in the evil that stalks his streets at night.

The Dark Path Chronicles

Samantha, a teenager who hears voices, answers the call of Jurgen, a rogue vampire who was “made” during the waning days of the Third Reich and who has just awakened after 75 years. Despite the warnings of her friend and advisor, Father Raymond, she develops a romantic attraction to Jurgen and is drawn into his conflict with Luke and Enid, powerful vampires from the old world. The ensuing life-and-death struggle is played out through a musical endeavor on the streets of Los Angeles. Written and directed by Mary Lambert (Pet Sematary).
