‘Zombies of Mass Destruction’ Added to After Dark Lineup
October 30, 2009 by Alison
After Dark Films’ 2010 Horrorfest 4 will feature Typecast Pictures’ ZMD: Zombies of Mass
Destruction in its “8 Films to Die For” series. The festival runs for one week in theaters across the United States from January 29nd until February 5th, making it the largest nationwide film festival. So far the lineup is looking pretty good but I’m still baffled at this addition.
Kevin Hamedani directed ZMD and co-wrote with Ramon Isao. Janette Armand, Doug Fahl, and Cooper Hopkins star.
From the press release: “In ZMD, a conservative island community is under attack! Port Gamble, Washington is being overrun with braineaters, and the people seem powerless to stave them off. A rag tag band of rebels led by Frida (Janette Armand), an Iranian college student suspected of being an Iraqi terrorist, and Tom (Doug Fahl), a gay business man who has returned to town with his partner to come out to his mother, tries to turn the tide and push the invading hoards of undead back.”
So, what do you guys think?
