‘The Stepfather’ Trailer

Dylan Walsh loves playing the dysfunctional daddy. He’s the midlife-crisis-riddled surgeon on Nip/Tuck and now he’s playing the deranged dad in The Stepfather–a remake of the 1987 flick.

Michael (Penn Badgley) returns home from military school to find his mother (Sela Ward) shacked up and madly in love with her new boyfriend (Dylan Walsh). Deadly daddy drama ensues. The film is directed by Nelson McCormick who also happened to direct several Nip/Tuck episodes.

The Stepfather will be doling out spankings in theaters October 16. I’m so there.
