MTV’s ‘My Super Psycho Sweet 16′ Airs Friday

MTV has finally caught on that horror is like the best thing eva and will be premiering the first film in a slate of original movies produced by MTV–My Super Psycho Sweet 16.
The film tells the story of Madison Penrose (Juliana Guill), a spoiled and beautiful high school queen bee, and Skye Rotter (Lauren McKnight), the class outcast whose father Charlie Rotter committed a series of grisly murders a decade before the movie’s events. Madison’s plans for the ultimate birthday bash are ruined when Skye shows up to get closer to Madison’s ex-boyfriend Brigg (Chris Zylka), but things get really psycho when Charlie returns to crash the party too.
My Super Psycho Sweet 16 stars Juliana Guill (Friday The 13th), Lauren Mcknight (House of Fear), Chris Zylka (Cougartown) and Matt Angel (Raising The Bar).
Stop over to MTV to see the premiere of the film Friday, October 23 at 10pm ET/PT. While you’re there, ask them what happened to all the music videos. For now, enjoy this trailer and clips.
That looks ok to me. I don’t have cable so I won’t be watch it.
The girl’s hot, the trailer’s not.
I loved this movie…such a good premise for a slasher film (who wouldn’t want to see these spoiled brats get cut up?), and they did a good job of keeping it short, sweet and action-packed. Lots of gore, too for a TV movie!
Also, I really liked the soundtrack, lots of good tunes, especially “Put the Candle Back” by Electric Owls (that’s the song playing while Madison, Olivia and Chloe get ready for the party)
