Hi Jane! I'm back with some comments on The Uninvited. I found this to be a neat little phschological thriller. It proved to be much better than I anticipated especially after reading several reviews. I am usually turned off by excessive gore so I was grateful to be spared that. What I did find annoying was the way they had to resort to the typical gimmickry in order to scare (startle) us. It has all been done to excess in the past with the loud noises, quick scene changes and sometimes flying felines!

I found the story to be pretty good (not great) and the actors did a workman like job that kept me interested. I enjoyed the shots of the house and the surrounding lake area very much. I also thought that the ending was quite nicely wrapped up for us.

All in all, a pretty good movie.
