Marvel Comics Digitalverse Has New Offerings

It’s no longer necessary to physically stalk that new comic issue you’ve been craving if you’re a Marvel Comics fan. Besides, the clerk behind the counter might get a little creeped out. Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited is showing its fans some major love with their amazing offering of “online first” digital comics, and the latest offerings present a treat for horror fans as well.

They’ve recently released a new batch of comics that include a Marvel Digital Holiday Special, coming out on December 17, and a load of Astonishing Tales adventures that include Wolverine/Punisher, and Iron Man 2020. One of the stories in the special issue classified as holiday horror, features a normal family who has their celebrations interrupted by Skrulls. What’s really awesome is that you can get a subscription and catch these comics in a beautiful digital format, before they hit the stands for as little as $4.99 per month. They also have a Free section that’s updated every week, and includes an RSS feed for those who want to know what’s available right away.

The presentation of these comics on the site is exceptional in my opinion. You can flip the pages to your heart’s content, and zoom up close and personal if you want. Some of the horror and pseudo horror offerings include Stephen King’s The Stand Sketchbook #1, Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born #1, and Ghost Rider Saga #1. These are in the free section!
