Who Is Your Favorite On Screen Devil?

Come with me on a short trip through cinematic devilry, as I take a look at some of my favorite on-screen devils. Who are your favorites?

Al Pacino as John Milton in “The Devil’s Advocate”

In this video, Al Pacino gives his feelings on God, and says that “God likes to watch”, among other things.

Gabriel Byrne as Satan in “End Of Days”

This is actually the trailer for the film. Byrne’s character actually starts out as an innocent, but the devil has other plans, and decides to take his body for nefarious purposes.

Peter Stormare as The Devil in “Constantine”

Stormare is one of my favorite on-screen devils because he just screams coolness in this film in the way comes to collect the long-sought after soul of Constantine (Keanu Reeves).

Robert DeNiro as Louis Cypher in “Angel Heart”

This is a short fan montage of the devil in cinema, and it features DeNiro at the beginning. DeNiro’s portrayal here is very subtle, yet he comes across as truly dark.

The devil in “Rosemary’s Baby”

The devil here looks a bit comical to me. Well you can see for yourself.

The devil in “The Ninth Gate”

In the The Ninth Gate, the actual devil is a bit of a no-show if you don’t count the drawings in the books that Johnny Depp’s character collects. However, Depp gets some help from one of the devil’s beautiful minions, as you can see in this video.

The devil in “Prince of Darkness”

This is one of the stranger films about the “dark prince”. He seems to wreak havoc on the world from inside some sort of liquid tank.
