Friday The 13th: Gore Behind The Scenes

Check out some of the creepy stuff, and actor & producer chat, all on the set of the new Friday The 13th film, set for its February 2009 release:

The character, Jason Voohees is seen in his various film scenes. We also get to see Camp Crystal Lake, behind the scenes in Austin, Texas.

Producer Brad Fuller talks about how his job includes respecting, yet expanding on the anthology of Jason. It’s obvious that he cares a lot for the film, and we suspect it will show in the end result.

Fuller is also producing three other horror films that are all in post-production status: A Nightmare On Elm Street, The Birds, The Unborn.

Actor Derek Mears reveals how much he’s enjoyed the Jason movies over the years, and tells us a little bit of what it’s like to portray the new Jason. Derek also portrayed the character, Chameleon, in The Hills Have Eyes II.

Supernatural star and horror hottie Jared Padalecki, and actor Amanda Righetti both talk about the work on the set, which includes blood, cold temperatures, real bruises, and lots more blood. Danielle Panabaker talks about how realistic the deaths in the film are, and how she thinks fans will react.
