Screamstress First Look at Terminator 4: Salvation

Another scary Terminator will grace the big screens in 2009, and this model seems to be ready for anything. Check out the first teaser trailer for this new film starring Christian Bale.

It’s always fun to look at robots from the future, and they are, after all a bit hard to ignore, especially when they look like…this. Terminator 4: Salvation is the first installment of the new trilogy. Christian Bale portrays John Connor in post-apocalyptic 2018.

This is not the future that John (nor us as viewers) expect, as John meets a stranger (Sam Worthington) who lost his memory. Together, they and other survivors find themselves on a journey to solve the secret of the destruction of humans.

The director, McG (Supernatural, Chuck) has stated that his intent is to weave in horror elements along with the science. I’m holding out hope for what I call The Bale magic as well. Writers John Brancato and Michael Ferris obviously have a story to tell us in this film, and a summer 2009 release gives their director plenty of time to tell it. Are you looking forward to what is a re-imagining of sorts to the Terminator story?
