Ghost Hunters: Back For Season 5 in 2009

Fans of Ghost Hunters? Get ready, because it was just announced this week that the team will be back for Season 5 in 2009.
There will be 25 episodes of the paranormal plumbers, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, busting ghosts by debunking what’s real and what’s just dust on the camera. According to the network, this season has been the best one yet, and has been bringing in the female viewership in record numbers, by the way.
Maybe it’s because they’ve given terms such as “shadow people”, or “EVP” household popularity, and helped bring other knowledge of the supernatural to the mainstream.
What is it about these two guys, their team, and this show that makes them so popular? I’m betting it’s the fact that each week, they introduce us to a new alleged supernatural setting, and take on the truth in an honest, and interesting way. Both Jason, Grant and the team do the job they set out to do, while at the same time, are not afraid to be themselves, and have a bit of fun.
Ghost Hunters airs on Wednesdays at 9:00 PM ET on Sci-Fi. Pictured above are Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson, and the rest of the crew.

Wow,season 5 already.I only have season 1&2.I need to catch up,i love this show dued to how good these guys are at catching activity and evp’s.I think it’s great they can prove that people who die stay around in the afterlife.
I have my own shadow people.They tap in my wall and i have my own evp’s of their voices.
Wow,i see brian must be back.I am glad he is growing up and moving forward with his life.All that drama before had nothing to do with ghost hunting,LOL.I thought season 5 almost wasn’t gonna happen dued to their own personal lives. Cause of the talk jayson and grant said who they should turn taps over to.I think that would be cool to see their own children investigating the paranormal for taps one day.
I love the Ghost Hunters. I even wrote a page about Jason Hawes. I know it needs work, but fans can help! lol
I think, of all of the Paranormal shows out there, Ghost Hunters is the most believable. You also get involved in the crew members relationships.

Ghost hunters is so popular because as with every good show it has to do with the right people as the cast. I can’t wait to see what is new in their personal lives as well as their ghost busting exploits. I have seen the Ghost hunters international but would rather watch the original crew. What’s with all the girls on the international show? Trying to bring in more young boys???
I as a person who likes the ghost hunter show would like to know how i or anyone, would be able to to join you all on you’r show to do ghost hunting.
That is such an old picture. Brian is long gone (Yippy, what a whiny brat) and so is Donna. There is no ‘cast’ on the show there is a crew. I like the show because they approach it scientifically. They do not run around screaming like idiots with cameras pointed up their noses while psychics wander about spirit humping and being possessed. The only thing that would make the show better is if the narrator Mike Rowe would get his seriously yummy self in front of the camera.

So many people want to join your team, me included. So why not have fans come ghost hunt w/u & see if they can stir up the spirits. Let a winer be a new cast member.That would be great reality TV.

do you ever have fans come on the set and
be one of the observers. It would be more
convincing if you had people come on the show
that could give the audiance a better understanding of what it is like to search for
the unknown. Just a normal person with no star or actress connections. The fans would be more apt to believe what they hear and see. Great
show. You keep it clean and still have a good
ratings.

I wish I had cable. Darn I love ghost hunters. I just bought Season 4 part 1 & 2 and plan to buy all the rest of them. I live on a very small income so cable is too expensive. I guess when it comes out on DVD I will be there to buy it. I have had many places that were haunted. I had another TAPS family from Wisconsin investigate the place we are in now. I was very impressed with their profressionalizam. They found the most EVP’s at my apt here than in all the 20 years they have been doing it. The entire Camera and stand went up in the air and slammed down to the floor in my daughter’s room when one of the member’s provoked the spirit. There is a teen girl and an older man’s spirit in our apt.
I actually stumbled upon Ghost Hunters when I was looking for answers to my own experiences. I think they do a Great job at seperating the facts in a case. Thay need to keep up the good work even if some of the public gives them slack. I say to each is thier own and if you dont like it, change the channel. I am looking forward to the next season and not giving up hope for them to come to Canada!
I don’t get it. They announced a whole new season but the last two weeks have been repeats! What up?
Is GHI off the air as in canceled?
I freiking hope not!!! I love the show, everything about the show. I have been really bummed because my family and I buy the episodes from our XBOX 360, since we dont have cable, but the last two weeks there hasn’t been a new one. I hope they are merely taking a break… and that they are back next week…

i am really dumb founded atm. i live over in Australia and the only way i get the episodes is by downloading them via torrents. i have had episode 8 and have been waiting eagerly for the next to be aired or captured. it’s been ages. um does anyone know what has happened or has there been something wrong with air dates ect.

I really believe this show is great because of Jason and Grant. They know what they are doing. I do not watch any of the haunted shows because they are impossible to believe. Jason and Grant work so well together and always get the job done and I believe what they are saying. They are not afraid to say a place is not haunted when everyone may have been expected it to be. I hope they continue on with these excellent investigations. I love this show!

Bonjour , moi je suis francais et fan de l’emission gosht hunter , depuis tout petit malgrer ma peur je mobstine a regarde et a me prouver que les fantomes , les esprits etc existe vraiment . Biensur jai tenter des millions de fois a tenter d’apercevoir des ombres ou autres mais je trouver toujour une explication a se que javais apercu . Mais depuis quelque temps pas mal de chose se font sentir dans ma chambres , on s’y sent opresser et il fait tout le temps tres chaud , je me pose certaines question sur tout c’est phenomene , et meme en ecrivant tout cela mon dos n’arrete pas de ressentir des frissons et je sens quon mobserves bref tout sa pour vous dire que jaime le paranormale et que je vie tres bien avecles esprits qui mentoure .

I like that the original Ghost Hunters (Jason, Grant, Steve…) really do a good job of trying to debunk a haunting and sometimes find unexplainable events. More often than not, they will say “I still can’t say this place is haunted”. I get the impression that GHI is more trying to prove a haunting than debunk it. Sometimes it’s hard to see the difference, but it makes it much harder to trust their impressions of the case.
I think that’s a fair assessment. I wonder if the GHI team is just giddy about being somewhere so old and so amazing that they lean toward wanting to find something vs. not. Hmmm…
I love this show my mom and myself and my three kids watch every night at 7pm, I ve always been interested in the paranormal, ghosts, hauntings, etc. I hope to get into it more, ive had plenty of experiences here in my own home, there has been three people that has died in my home may years before, the owner fell down the basement stairs and hit his head on the concrete floor, his wife later killed herself in my bedroom closet many years later, and a man fell off the roof while trying to repair, so yeah ive had people talk to me, things go missing, then later appear a few days later, doors open and close, lights go on when no one is a round them, etc. but yeah i love the show jason and grant, tango, steve and the rest of the crew, are awesome, what i see is not just friends and co workers but a family. keep up the awesome work, you should try coming to canada sometime to check out a few of our haunted places.

What a bunch of BS….. these guys are frauds, caught faking evidence MORE than once….come on people…plus they are in pretty deep with the BRENT FAIR fraud for TAPSCON2..they try to say it isn’t related to TAPS..but Ummm the name is TAPS con for a reason and they promoted the event on their sight they are in it up to their necks and the DOJ is investigating as you read this. Ok, people, keep the bad mouthing to yourselves. your just saying there fakes cause someone else is saying it, why dont you contact TAPS yourselves and see if you can join them for a show, to see if they are fakes. Im sorry ive seen every show even the International ghost hunters, and they are both great shows, but I have to say myself that TAPS ( jason, grant, tango, steve and kris and the rest of the crew) are genuine when they are on thr hunts. I would give anything to go on a hunt with the TAPS crew. I keep trying to convince my hubby to go to the graveyards and stuff with me but he wont, hes chicken. anyway all i want to say is JASON, GRANT, STEVE, TANGO, KRIS AND THE REST OF THE TAPS CREW KEEP UP THE AWESOME HUNTING OF THE PARANORMAL, AND EVPS, I HOPE YR KIDS( GRANT, JASON)ARE PROUND OF THERE DADS, I KNOW MY KIDS ARE PROUND TO SAY THEY ARE ADVID WATCHERS OF TAPS, AND HOPE TO DO THE THINGS U DO.BUT LIKE I SAID COME TO CANADA SOME TIME, I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN CALLED MIDLAND, ONTARIO. I’m sure the TAPS boys & girls are happy to know they have fans that run in entire families! Wish there were more paranormal shows on when I was a kid!

I have one question for everyone. Why hasn’t the TAPS Ghosthunters team gone back to the Iron Island Museum in Buffalo, NY. This was one of the best shows EVER! This should have been the Halloween Special this year. Great haunted location. Come on lets join together and get them back to Buffalo at Iron Island.

March 3rd specail 100th epsiode at alcatraz.I emailed them and suggested it.I went to San Francisco in 1998 senior year of highschool.I went to go to the San Francisco art museums.I saw men coming in in their prision suits.I got so scared i turned my head when i was on the bus.They definately got inmates still around.I hope jay and grant catch them and evp’s.I wonder if their gonna tell them to leave.That prision is too scary.I saw a cell slam in grants face on the commerical preview,it looks like a very spooky episode.Good luck guys,i love watching your investigations.

Do you really believe this docu-soap as real… Must be nice to let someone else andswer your questions- Anyone want swamp land- I got a bunch for sale…. Get up, fiond a group and DO IT YOURSELVES!!!!! I wonder if they’ll use all their cash for the haitians or are they planning to go there to find ghosts. What i hear about this group/show really has me thinking how money can change people- even make them hurt others to get it…….how sad…..just some thoughts.
