VH1 Launches "Scream Queens" & You Want To Be One!

Do you want to be on a reality show, and have a knack for screaming at the 
top of your lungs? VH1 is looking for you for Scream Queens, a new horror reality series.
Compete, and if you win, the grand prize is a major role in a Lionsgate film. VH1’s new series called Scream Queens will air this Fall. The show will feature eight one hour episodes in which contestants get training from acting coach John Homa, and be judged by a mystery director from Lionsgate Films.
Horror hottie Sarah Michelle Gellar is widely accepted as a scream queen, and she has the horror roles to prove it.
John Homa is known for some acting credits of his own, so this should be quite interesting. Check out the scream queen video, and what a noted scream queen has to say about the subject after the jump:
Both Lionsgate and VH1 reps are excited, not only in the premise of the show, but the idea of finding new acting talent. VH1 already has some ideas of their own about what makes a great scream queen from seeing their gallery here of 2007 scream queens.
So, ever wondered what’s so special about a scream queen? For one thing, its more than just screaming. It takes a woman who is not only attractive, but also able to make us believe the scream. Debbie Rochon (scream queen) has written a great piece called The Legend of the Scream Queen. I like her definition. She says that the true scream queen …”is sexy, seductive, and attainable to the average guy…”.

i want to be on scream queen i am so glad that they have auditions i am also glad to be the first to comment i love scary movies i always wanted to know what it feels like to be chased. i also want a kissing seen before the killer comes!!!
omg i totally want to be in a movie, and a scream queen. i dont really like scary movies, so i would be probably okay at screaming and acting all scaredd on the show. ooohh! ssscaaarryyyyyy! lol =]
I would love to take a chance to been the next scream queen for a scary movie.I don’t like scary movies that well because they scare me half to death,and I think I can prove I have what it take’s to be the next scream queen.If i’m picked to audition for the part i’m totally gonna bring it with everything i’ve got.
I love love love this. I watch this show every week. Ever since i was a little girl I would pretend I was an actress in a horror movie. That wish is way to far for me to reach but maybe someday!
I totally love horror movies I was wondering does anyone know if there’s going to be a scream queens 2 I wanna try out for the audtions it would be my dream come true just to try out for the role well if some one could reply and let me know I would appreciate it thank sincerly, veronica
I watched every episode of screem queens and loved it . The show even had me in tears when i watched its finale. I was so inspired by the winner of the show,(Tenedra) that i prayed for a chance to be on the show. You guys got to do another season and email me the details on how to be a contestant.

iam a absolute horror lover my fav tv show was buffy the vampire slayer my favourtie ep was buffy was when willow had lost tara and wanted revenge and the special effents in that ep was absoultely amazing the best 10 stars
ive always wanted to act and most of the tv series or movies would like to be in is horror or thriller. i find them very well done and over the top amazing
i would LOVE to be on scream queens!!!!!! i have never taken an acting class before, but i know that i would be perfect!!!!!!!!!! i am great at being a phyco killer, problem is, that i am 12 years old! i want to know how old u have to be so you can be a scream queen!!!!!!!!!!! please please please PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! pick me to be on scream queens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i don’t think a lot of those girls have had official acting classes but i could be wrong! i didn’t catch the beginning of season 1.
