"Jeepers Creepers" Action Figure & 2009 Sequel

If you’ve been thinking about what to add to your horror collectibles, then check out the Creeper here, from the film, Jeepers Creepers 2. I think the battle ax and the Creeper’s face look quite realistic here in that they’re very detailed.
If you thought the tale of the Creeper was over, it’s been noted that a third movie written by director/writer Victor Salva will be taking its place in 2009, most likely in a theatrical release. Check out the larger “Creeper” image after the jump.
Salva told Fangoria earlier this year that characters from the first two films will return, and the film will include an Old West prologue.
Seems we’ll also find out a few things about where the creeper comes from, and why it does its ritualistic eating. Salva also revealed the tentative title for the film, Jeepers Creepers 3: The Creeper Walks Among Us.
It was noted that the WGA strike had put a hold on otherwise good intentions to get this sequel started earlier, however, things are looking up with the return of Ray Wise (Reaper), and possible return of Gina Phillips from the first film.

First I’d like to say that I loved the first two Creepers and have never understood the negative comments that I have read about them. I thought that they were cleverly written, had some great scares and were a lot of fun! I’ve been waiting for a sequel since Creepers 2 ended! I like the ideas behind Creeper 3, especially the who and why of the Creeper. It’s a shame they killed off Darry from Creeper 1, because I’d love to see him come back for Creeper 3 and any other sequel! The figurine is great. I will buy it and hope to see more of these action figures become available. Will there be a full sized Halloween Creeper mask anytime soon? I look for it every year and have yet to see one. All in all, I am excited about Creeper 3 and any new figurines!!!!!
