James Van Praagh Takes Dr. Phil To Spirit Realm
May 19, 2008 by Alexandra
Author, world-renowned medium and co-executive producer of the series,
Ghosts Whisperer, James Van Praagh, recently took esteemed talk show host, Dr. Phil to the dark side. I should actually say the spirit world, because according to Van Praagh, the spirit world is light and dark.
As guest on the show, he was hawking his new book called Ghosts Among Us. Read more about this episode, the highlights, and see a video of James Van Praagh as others in the Hollywood community talk about his ability, and more detail on his book.
I was surprised to see Dr. Phil delving into the paranormal. Then again, it’s probably a safer subject to investigate than the lives of some of those crazy Hollywood celebs.
On this episode of Dr. Phil, Van Praagh and the good doctor talked to people who either just believed in ghosts, and an extreme of one who let the spirit world rule her life.
There was also some footage from the set of Ghost Whisperer, along with commentary from Jennifer Love Hewitt. She describes some very real and unexplained spooky events that have occurred during filming of the series. Jennifer is a true believer of ghosts!
Other notable moments of the show were when James visited the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, and an old Paramount Studios lot, where he witnessed some ghostly activity involving the late Lucille Ball.
The highlight of the show is when James gave readings to members of the studio audience. At least one woman was brought to tears as James recounted info to her that he could not possibly have known. You can read more details about this episode here at Dr. Phil’s site.
