"Fear Itself" Stars Making Their Mark In Horror
May 26, 2008 by Alexandra
There’s definitely some bonding going on…on the set of NBC’s Fear Itself.
Actors new to horror seem to be the norm with NBC for this project, and the stars are talking about their experiences. Fear Itself airs on June 5, at 10:00 PM ET on NBC.
Although there are some talented actors that have already made their mark in the genre, having some new blood certainly does something for the constitution.
Check out what these guys are saying about “Fear”, and decide for yourself if NBC has found the formula for truly original programming after the jump:
Actors Elizabeth Moss (Mad Men, The West Wing), Jesse Plemons, and Brandon Routh recently gave their take on being a part of this new scare anthology, Fear Itself.
Brandon Routh, known for his lead role in Superman, reveals that he avoided horror movies as a child, and that it’s “not his favorite” genre. In spite of this, he chose to use the opportunity “to show another side of Brandon Routh”.
Jesse Plemons who is also new to the horror genre, describes his experience as a fun ride (he hung upside down covered in blood…). He will star in the episode called The Sacrifice.
Elizabeth Moss, who leads in the episode called Eater, has a different take on all this. She grew up loving horror movies, and has seemingly dived right in to her role as a police officer on night duty with a special prisoner.
Between the diversity of the writers on board, along with the actors, I feel this series has the potential for greatness. Let’s hope the show gets a chance for it! By the way, you can read the full account from the article at Freep.com by Kinney Littlefield.
