CW’s "13" Is Calling You Out – For Casting That Is!

March 30, 2008 by Alexandra

Casting calls are in order for The CW’s latest new horror-reality TV series called 13! I announced this show earlier this month, and I think it’s a step in the right direction, because it’s never been done before.

Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Dallas and Miami are the cities chosen, so if you live in these cities, you have an amazing chance of becoming a reality TV star this summer.

Official casting begins in just a few days, March 31, in Los Angeles. Do you have what it takes to be on this reality show?

If you are a man or woman, between the ages of 18-30, energetic, competitive and full of personality, you can be part of the first scary competition reality show. The grand prize is $66,666. (That’s a pretty scary number.)

Here are the details you need for the Los Angeles and Philadelphia casting call locations, which include the link to apply online and *deadline* for online entries. Dates and times for Miami and Dallas are still to be determined. Good luck!

Why is there an age limit?! People over 30 can be energetic too you know!!!!! Age descrimination is VERY Scary!!!!!!! What a shame. I think I would be very good on this show. Limiting the casting call based on age is really limiting the shows potential.

Thom, your comment reminds of a quote:

“Hollywood looks to these young people now to say something to the world. I have nothing against that, I think a lot of people have things to say. But I think you need life experience.”

I want to experience something scary and real but casting calls never pick areas like connecticut or massachusettes it always california or florida. Come on.

  4. Alexandra says:

Jessica, I have to agree. Some of the scariest stuff I’ve experienced has always been in the eastern and northern parts of the country.

Now, I do hear it’s pretty scary in LA at times, but for different reasons. :D
