#10: The Children of…The Children

This sly little flick was on TV constantly when I was a tyke, and of course, I though it was ultra cool. Any film that had kids killing adults was always high in my book.

Some school kids get caught in the remnants of a nuclear spill, which naturally turns them into evil zombies with black fingernails. All the kids want to do now is…kill! Just one hug turns their victim into steaming mincemeat, and these kids love to make mincemeat.

Along with the graphic special effects, this movie gets big points for having the nerve to even kill a toddler.

Unfortunately, the adults strike back and chop the kids to bits, but these brats are still the ultimate horror spawn.
